Rocko is coming to QCBR after a loving family rescued him a little over two years ago from a shelter in Louisville. They could tell he had a little trouble with sight; but there were no issues when they introduced their other dogs or children. He is older; probably ten or so. And over the past few months, he has become aggressive when he is “surprised”.
This negative behavior has unfortunately manifested with both dogs and the children (if he can’t see what’s coming near him he turns into a bit of a snapping turtle). Whenever he feels threatened he goes into this mode.
His previous family feels Rocko is becoming more stressed in their busy home with two children and one on the way, not relaxed.
Rocko would thrive in an adult only home, with someone with patience. He still loves to roll around and play (when feeling secure) and he likes to cuddle up on his terms.
He’s funny, and loves his toys, and his belly scratched.
